Energy saving measures and potential analysis of power lithium battery plants

In this paper, according to the actual system and energy consumption characteristics of a lithium battery plant in Nanjing, combined with the conventional industrial plant energy saving technology, the energy saving measures combined with the craft process of the lithium battery plant are put forward. Through TRNSYS simulation and technical and economic analysis, the reduction of annual operation energy consumption and the investment payback period of energy saving transformation scheme are determined. The results show that the energy saving rate of the whole year is 14.6% and the dynamic investment payback period is 1.9 years by using coating heat recovery, aging unit heat recovery, free cooling technology and high and low temperature chillers, which has good technical and economic performance.
